My white coat ceremony for medical school is today! A white coat ceremony is a big event here where we get to wear our white coats for the first time, symbolizing our transition to a serious career in healthcare!
To celebrate this occasion, check out these formally dressed plushies: 10th anniversary Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma, & Kiiroitori wearing red sequined blazers!
Hey, also did you know this is my first full-size Kiiroitori?
This dapper set was a special order at the Rilakkuma 10th Anniversary Exhibit!
While I ordered these back in the spring exhibit, in the current exhibit, you can now get this set AND the special 10th anniversary thrones set as well – wow!
I really want to go to the exhibit myself (Ariel made a great post on it), but this cute set will have to do for now haha.
Anyway, in other news, I moved in to my new apartment in Orlando!
We actually don’t have much furniture around yet lol, just a dining set and bedroom things – but no rush, we’ll be working on it over the next few weeks! We just spent the weekend building all the stuff we bought from IKEA hahaha (they have such a great cafeteria!).
This weekend has been a blur because of moving and stuff, but most importantly, I did set up a new Rilakkuma display shelf in my room, so photos of that in the next post for sure!
Congrats on your white coat ceremony! Looks like the Rilakkuma gang is out to celebrate with you too!
Even Kiiroitori has a little hole for his tail, that’s so cool.
I love IKEA, especially their frozen yoghurt, amazing stuff.
Ah I didn’t have the frozen yoghurt – I just tried all their cool swedish drinks haha but hopefully I’ll get to go soon again, their prices are too good!
Congrats! Looks like rilakkuma and friends are dressing up to celebrate this special occasion with you. I love their red suits, it looks really stunning in person ^_^ I can’t wait to see your display shelf, it will be amazing I am sure. Did you bring all your plushies to your new apartment? The meatballs in the Ikea cafe are so good, sometimes I go to ikea to “shop for furniture” just as an excuse to eat at the cafe lol
I only brought a third of them because the rest of them are shared by my family (mainly the ones we bought in Japan). They might migrate over to my place eventually once I buy more shelves haha
I had the meatballs!! They were even better than I expected and sooo cheap! I’m gonna try to make another trip soon hahaha there’s one super close to where I live!!
Congratz! And wow! First full size Kiiroitori?! XD Hope to see more Kiiros then hehe!!!! He’s definitely worth collecting, I love his bright yellow colours! Also – white coat ceremony hehe, we never had one – we just wore them on our first day at the cadaver lab XD
Yeah, Kiiro is so awesome! It’s kinda funny, the other Kiiro’s I have are the mini-versions (from my Skytree and Lawson Aloha sets), so I was really stunned at how big the “regular” size Kiiroitori was hahaha
The white coat thing was so crazy – there were so many families there taking photos, I felt like a celebrity haha but it’s kinda cool. We get the short coats since we’re just students, but it was a pretty fun way to kick of the academic year!
Wow how awesome the white coat ceremony!! They are such a cute series, I love the details. Congratulations on the moving and moving towards a great career. Rilakkuma looks so cute helping you move ^^
Orlando I bet its just amazing that’s where all the fun theme parks are right? That is so cool :D
Yep! We’ve got Disneyworld and Universal Studios – and Busch Gardens is pretty close-by too! At least I know where I can relax and visit on the weekends hahaha since I grew up in Florida, I actually haven’t been to a theme park in a really long time, I might have to go this year now that I live so close haha
Make your Mama proud!
Will do!
